I am a tech junkie. My newsfeed is 50% new phones and computers. I work as a developer and have very few expenses. I love technology, am inundated with smartphone leaks, announcements and reviews, have disposable income, and use a smartphone that is almost 3 years old. I was so surprised at the realization that I had to look up the release date of my phone to confirm. In the past I have barely kept phones for 2 years, but smartphones have reached such a stable place that nothing has inspired me to upgrade.

Why use credit cards:

The reason to have and use credit cards is to get a 2+ percent discount on almost every purchase, as well as other benefits. The reason credit card companies provide this incentive to use credit cards is because they want you to get into credit card debt and pay them high interest rates on it. As long as you do not get into debt, using them saves you money.

I have been using the GR1 for over a year now and have not seen something else that has made me think about replacing it, or regret the purchase. I am constantly researching and wanting new gear and I love bags, so that is incredibly surprising.

A year ago, after 2 years working all day in front of 3 monitors and having used computers for most of my lifetime I hit a point where after about 3pm I struggled to read on my computer. A little before that I had heard about screen glasses, so I ordered a pair and the problem went away. I now wear them whenever I am using a computer and frequently when using my phone.

Belts are not paid too much attention until your favorite one disintegrates. Then you are stuck with your pants slowly sliding down over the course of the day, or that belt you never wore because it just did not look, or feel quite right. Of course it has been so long since you bought a belt that your now deceased go to is no longer made, or it is still made in which case it disintegrated much too quickly to be worth buying again. I ran into this problem a few years ago, bought a fantastic belt and, unless the Orion Leather Company goes under in my lifetime, it is unlikely I will buy a belt from anywhere else.
